Liverpool have reportedly had the door opened in their chase for Bayern Munich powerhouse Xherdan Shaqiri.
The Swiss international has found regular game time hard to come by this season, battling with the likes of Arjen Robben, Franck Ribery, Mario Gotze and Thomas Muller for a place in Pep Guardiola’s side.
And with his future heading in the wrong direction, Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers is keen to swoop in and reignite his career.
While he remains coy over his future, he has admitted that he is aware of reported interest from Liverpool.
As quoted on the TalkSport website, he recently said: “When you hear these names, of course you have to listen to the offer, but there is nothing concrete.”
