Chelsea boss aims dig at Arsenal boss after big deal signing

Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho has resumed hostilities with Arsene Wenger by aiming a double-dig at Arsenal.

The Special One claimed Cesc Fabregas was never interested in a move back to the Emirates.

The Blues boss swooped to sign Fabregas last month on a five-year deal after Wenger chose not to exercise a buyback clause in the 27-year-old Spain international’s Barcelona contract.

However, Mourinho insisted Fabregas was always up for a move across London and agreed to it after just a brief conversation between them.

As quoted on the Daily Mirror website, he said: “I spoke with him 20 minutes.

“I think he really wanted to come to us.

“As you know Arsenal had an option to interfere. But I think he was not open for that, I think he was very much in our direction so it was an easy job for me.”

  1. Mourinho is egoistic and showed his class by taking aim at Arsene. Fabregas like all professional would speak well of the club he has decided to join. Why slight Arsenal and Arsene unless you have personal agenda. It is unfair and unprofessional comments. Arsene showed class above Mourinho when he said Fab landed where he wanted.
