Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho could raid his old club Porto for Brazilian left-back Alex Sandro, according to reports on the TalkSport website.
He joined Porto in July 2011, and made his official debut for the side in October of that year during a Taça de Portugal clash with Pero Pinheiro.
In the 2012/13 season Sandro established himself as a regular for Porto, making 25 league appearances and six in the Champions League.
His ability to dribble past players as well as his ability to win the ball back from opponent has made him a prime target for Chelsea, as they look to strengthen their squad this summer
Mourinho has been playing Cesar Azpilicueta out of position on the left-side of defence after Ashley Cole has fallen out of favour with the Chelsea boss, but it is thought that he remains keen on bringing in a specialist in that position, despite Azpilicueta’s strong performances this term.
Sandro would likely command a fee of around £15million, which could be cheaper than some of the club’s other reported targets
