Chelsea boss on alert as £17 million target to be cashed in this summer by incoming boss

There has been some fresh reports in the media which claim Manchester United may cash in on Shinji Kagawa, according to the Daily Express website.

The former Borussia Dortmund player joined United in 2012 with top accolades from pundits throughout Europe.

However, a series of injuries and lack of game time meant that he failed to live upto expectations and now there is talk his time may be up at Old Trafford.

And one club that could make a surprise move is Chelsea, as boss Jose Mourinho has admitted that he tried to sign Kagawa for Real Madrid before he signed for United.
