Chelsea could receive a boost in their pursuit of promising young Monaco left-back Layvin Kurzawa.
The 21-year-old has been a top performer for the Ligue 1 side this season, aiding his team’s cause with a highly impressive five goals and two assists from the back.
Chelsea are believed to be keen on bringing the youngster to England, as they seek a long-term replacement for the aging Ashley Cole.
The England international is coming to the end of his career and is looking at the possibility of a move to the MLS.
And according to the SportsDirectNews website the big-spending French giants are being linked with the likes of Luis Filipe and Alberto Moreno in that position for this summer’s transfer window, which may mean they are then more open to selling Kurzawa.
