Inter Milan star Javier Zanetti has dampened speculation he will move to Chelsea at the end of the season
The Argentine, who has made 950 appearances during his career, has been weighing up whether to continue playing next season or move into a coaching role.
And while it remains unclear if the 40-year-old will hang up his boats what does seem certain is that he will shun Jose Mourinho and stay at Inter after the Blues were thought to be lining up a shock move for the player.
Zanetti held a meeting with Inter president Erick Thohir over the weekend who flew in from Indonesia to watch the 1-0 victory over Torino.
“I am very happy, because I think that I will continue to be a part of Inter,” Zanetti told journalists at a charity event.
“I never had any doubts about that, as there has always been absolute clarity with the president. The most important thing is that this marriage will continue.” (SportsDirectNews)
