Chelsea looking to sign up in-demand ball-playing centre-half as big contract offered

Chelsea are reportedly interested in West Ham sensation Reece Oxford, but will have to battle it out as the Hammers have offered him a new deal.

The deal for the 6ft 3in, ball-playing centre-half would make him one of the best paid youngsters at the club.

The Irons joint-chairman David Sullivan is desperate for the 15-year-old to snub their London rivals to continuing his education at Upton Park.

The Blues have a habit of landing some of the games best talents and then loaning them out, just like they have with 44 of their youngsters.

However, the Daily Mirror claim the Hammers wont give up without a fight and are hoping Oxford signs the new deal.
