Chelsea to make shock move for 31-goal hitman

There has been some more reports which have claimed Chelsea could make a move for Jonathan Soriano

The striker scored a ridiculous 32 goals for FC Barcelona’s B team in the 2010/11 Spanish second division, handing them what would have been a play-off place for promotion to La Liga were they eligible, but he had the minor obstacle of Lionel Messi blocking his path from making consistent appearances with Barca’s seniors.

Looking to play regularly, he left for Red Bull Salzburg in 2012, but it is evident that he needs a challenge at a much higher level.

Last season he managed 29 goals in 36 games with Salzburg, but this season he is blowing those numbers away, notching up 31 strikes in only 27 appearances.(TalkSport)

It will be interesting to see where he ends up
