Chief Executive confirms ‘Arsenal are in talks’ to get summer deal done as £24 million man on way?

Reports have come out and revealed Arsenal’s Chief executive Ivan Gazidis says the Gunners are in talks with transfer targets, and is “confident” of adding to the squad this summer.

The Gunners have been linked with several players across Europe this summer, as boss Arsene Wenger finally looks to spend big and try to compete in the transfer market with the other big guns.

The likes of AC Milan striker Mario Balotelli is reportedly the top summer target, as Wenger looks to add more fire-power to his front-line.

And Gazidis has confirmed they are in talks to get summer deals done early, but didn’t confirm who they are in talks with.

As quoted on the Sky Sports website, he said: “Transfers are obviously important and we are deep in conversations already.

“I am confident we will add what we need this summer.

“The manager is not scared to spend, has the experience, but as always will have to juggle a set budget.”
