Reports have claimed Bayer Leverkusen technical director Rudi Voller has called reports of a pre-contract with Arsenal target Josip Drmic ‘nonsense’.
The 21-year-old Swiss born striker has been in superb form for German side Nurnberg this season, scoring 16 Bundesliga goals in 30 games.
And, Arsenal were reportedly set to get a deal done as reports claimed a deal was already done.
Bayer Leverkusen have also made enquiries about a summer move but director Rudi Voller has opened the door for other interested clubs by denying a reported pre-contract.
As quoted on the SportsDirectNews website, he said:”Drmic is an interesting player. But I also know other clubs are interested. The pre contract is nonsense.”
