Manchester United ore on alert as target Virgil Van Dijk has told Celtic he wants to leave.
The Dutchman has told boss Ronny Deila he wants to leave regardless of whether or not the Hoops make the Champions League group stage.
In better words, van Dijk would rather play anywhere else than at Celtic for some reason, he would even prefer to try pixies of the forest game here rather than stay in Scotland it seems.
“They must understand that, as a footballer, sometimes it’s time to make a move,” Van Dijk told Dutch magazine Voetbal.
“Of course, the Champions League millions are important for Celtic, but they cannot dismiss any interest. If the correct amount is placed on the table, then they will really think about it.
“If Celtic want to earn money from me, the club must act now.”
