Valencia general manager Francisco Rufete has admitted that a number of clubs are interested in signing Everton target Juan Bernat.
The 21-year-old has been of Valencia’s top performers this season and his performances have caught the eye of Robert Martinez.
The Spanish boss is keen to add to his squad this summer and sees Bernat as a great long-term replacement for Leighton Baines.
But Rufete has revealed that plenty of clubs have been keeping an eye on the Spaniard due to his performances.
As quoted on the SportsDirectNews website, he said: “We want him to be here for a long time, he is a homegrown player and very important for us.
We want him to be here a long time but also we know that many clubs are looking at him because he is performing at a high level.”
