Exciting goal-machine target wants Arsenal move as summer battle to happen

Arsenal face a battle for summer target Michy Batshuayi, as French giants AS Monaco have sent assistant manager Jean Petit to watch the striker.

Batshuayi is top scorer in the Belgian top flight this term with 18 goals in 31 games but has been heavily linked with a move to one of Europe’s bigger leagues this summer.

Gunners boss Arsene Wenger has been an admirer of his services and reports even claimed he had an agreement in place to bring him to the Emirates.

However, according to the Daily Mirror website, Monaco have plenty of money to spend and are looking to offer everything plus the kitchen sink to get a deal done.
