Barcelona defender Martin Montoya is keen to explore the possibility of joining Arsenal in the summer transfer window.
It is no secret that Arsenal are in the hunt for a new right-back as long-term star Bacary Sagna is heavily tipped to leave and make a move to Italian side Inter Milan.
And with Montoya’s current deal at the Nou Camp is due to expire this summer, his future is once again being discussed.
The Catalan club had been keen to renew but negotiations broke down two weeks ago and are yet to be started again and according to the SportsDirectNews website the youngster has discussed life in England and at Arsenal with former Gunners midfielders Cesc Fabregas and Alex Song
The 22-year-old Spanish international is keen to remain with the La Liga giants but only if he is guaranteed first team football.
