There has been some reports which have revealed Arsenal defender Laurent Koscielny has agreed a new five-year deal with the Gunners, according to reports.
The French International is now firmly established as one of the clubs top performers, as Per Mertesacker and himself have been in terrific form this season.
However, there had been talk that the likes of Bayern Munich and Monaco were keen to take advantage of the Gunners lack of silverware and sign him up.
But the Metro website claim Wenger held a meeting with Stephane Courbis, Koscielny’s representative, in London to express his intention to prolong the defender’s stay at the Emirates.
And they reached an agreement for the defender to stay at the Emirates until 2019.
