Frenchman tells team-mates he wants to do Arsenal deal

Bacary Sagna has rocked Arsenal by telling his team-mates he will leave the Emirates.

Sagna, who played in the 1-0 defeat at Stoke which has hurt the Gunners’ chances of winning the Premier League title, has rejected attempts by manager Arsene Wenger to offer him a lucrative new contract.

The 31-year-old defender wants a three-year deal and The Sun says Inter Milan, Paris St-Germain and Galatasaray are all willing to agree to his terms.

Sagna has been a key component of Wenger’s plans since arriving in north London from Auxerre for £6million seven years ago.

He has made 272 appearances for Arsenal since then, scoring five goals, but has yet to collect any silverware with the Gunners despite regularly playing Champions League football. (Metro)

This will be a massive blow if reports are true
