Chelsea have receive a significant boost regarding the pursuit of Everton defender John Stones, according to the Sun.
The Blues were heavily linked with a move for the young Englishman in the summer window, as Jose Mourinho pretty much confirmed his desire to get a deal done.
However, a move never materialised and many are expecting Mourinho to head back in this winter window.
Now they have been given a huge boost in the chase as Toffees’ boss Roberto Martinez is keeping tabs on Burnley centre-back Michael Keane.
The Spanish boss has now ordered the Toffees’ scouts to make sure Keane is the ideal replacement for Stones in the new year.
