Impressive Brazilian on radar of Wenger as Arsenal boss to fill top-class spot

There has been some reports which have claimed Arsenal are lining up a summer move for Porto’s Danilo da Silva as they seek a replacement for Bacary Sagna, according to the Daily Mirror website.

Though only 22-years-old, Danilo has already had a successful career both in Brazil and Europe.

The right back took a while to adapt to the demands of Portuguese football, but in the 2012/13 season made himself a regular for Porto, playing 28 games in the league and seven in the Champions League.

He has impressed so much over these last few seasons, the Gunners feel that a move to bring him to England would be one that would greatly benefit the club.

And Arsene Wenger knows he must find adequate cover for Bacary Sagna to make sure that is not a weakness next season.
