Sheffield United midfielder Conor Coady still hopes for a future with parent club Liverpool.
The young man is making great strides at United and is starting to show the kind of promise that could make him an instant hit at Anfield.
He is set to start in the FA Cup semifinal against Hull City, but is thinking about the future and is hoping to get his chance at Liverpool.
He told liverpoolfc.com: “I have been a Liverpool fan all of my life since I was a baby and to step out on this pitch is a real honour for me.
“It would be a really proud moment for me to play for Liverpool’s first team at Anfield, but at the minute it’s about me knuckling down and trying to play as well as I can for Sheffield United and push on.”
