Liverpool boss keen to raid rivals for exciting star

Liverpool are interested in signing Emyr Huws from title rivals Manchester City.

Ex-Liverpool striker Michael Owen is the player’s representative and has made no secret of his belief that Huws will become an established Premier League player.

And reports on the SportsDirectNews website have claimed Reds boss Brendan Rodgers, who has a proven track record of developing talented youngsters in his first-team, is keeping tabs on his progress and will consider an enquiry this summer.

However, City boss Manuel Pellegrini is keen to hold on one of his most promising talents, so Liverpool will have to offer something special to get a deal done.
