Liverpool boss on alert as mass exodus to see FOUR targets make summer exit

Liverpool are on alert as four players will reportedly leave Manchester City this summer.

Joleon Lescott will depart on a free transfer when his contract expires at the end of the season.

Micah Richards is assessing his future after turning down the offer of a new contract as he moves towards the final year of his existing deal.

James Milner will face a similar decision when he moves into the final 12 months of his contract in June.

While £16million flop Jack Rodwell is deemed surplus to requirements, and would have returned to Everton on loan in January had City been able to bring in Porto midfielder Fernando as a replacement.

That will leave Joe Hart and Gael Clichy – who was nurtured by Arsenal – as the only players in City’s current 25-man squad who are eligible to be classed as “home-grown” according to Premier League regulations. (Daily Mirror)

Liverpool are looking to add this summer, so would fans like to see any of the players arrive?
