Liverpool boss plots summer swap deal for impressive star

Liverpool are contemplating a swap deal with Valencia by which they would offer Iago Aspas in exchange for young striker Paco Alcacer.

Scouts of the Merseyside club were reportedly in Basel last Thursday to watch the talented youngster in action as Valencia took on Basel in the Europa League at St. Jakob Park.

Alcacer has been one of the brighter aspects of Valencia’s season so far, scoring 11 goals in 28 appearances for Los Che, as well as providing three assists.

Aspas has failed to impress in his debut season at Anfield and is looking to make a move this summer in order to get first team football.

As a result, Liverpool are said to be considering offering Aspas to Valencia plus cash in order to land Alcacer, who is under contract with the Spanish club until the end of the 2015/16 campaign. (SportsDirectNews)

It will be interesting to see if this happens
