Liverpool edge closer to target as giants Chief confirms he will cash in this summer

Liverpool are on alert as Feyenoord chief Martin van Geel declared Stefan De Vrij could be sold.

The highly-rated star is entering the final year of his current contracts and Van Geel says they’re ready to sell.

As quoted on the SportsDirectNews website, he said: “Stefan might be playing at the World Cup, only then we can possibly still return to the table,” Van Geel told Voetbal International.

“After consultation we decided first to see whether and what emerges. If there is nothing on the horizon, the door is always open (for new contract talks).”
