Liverpool star Daniel Agger insists he’s focused on the season ahead with the Reds, despite ongoing speculation about his future.
The 29-year-old has been linked with a move back to his homeland as well as Serie A side Napoli in recent weeks, as it seemed talk of a new defender coming in could have meant there was no need for Agger.
However, the Reds vice-Captain has stated he is not leaving Anfield.
As quoted on the Daily Mirror website, he said: “If the time is right and everything falls into place then I wouldn’t rule it out. But the timing has to be right.
“I have thought about it. A lot actually.
“But I’m here now and that is what I’m focused on.
“As for the rumours, don’t believe everything you hear. My restaurants were sold four years ago and I’ll be surprised and very sad if anyone has put my house up for sale.”
