There has been some reports which have revealed Liverpool have been given a boost in their chase for Alberto Moreno, as Real Madrid will not sign the Sevilla man.
The Sevilla youngster was believed to have already told his teammates that he was off to the Spanish capital in the summer, as Madrid reportedly are ready to sell Fabio Coentrao to open the door for the Spaniards arrival.
However, according to Carlos Carpio, Deputy Director of Madrid-based newspaper Marca, no such deal has been arranged and does not feel Madrid will risk the same kind of deal they agreed for Coentrao.
As quoted on the SportsDirectNews website, he said: “I don’t think they will sign Luis Suarez, almost certainly. Neither Gundogan, almost certainly, unfortunately, due to his back injury and neither Alberto Moreno.
“To pay £25million for a backup defender happens once in a lifetime, and paid the price with Coentrao.”
