Liverpool keen to land unsettled Serie A striker this summer

Liverpool are interested in a summer move for Juventus forward Mirko Vucinic.

The title-chasing Reds look likely to bag a top-four place and secure qualification for the Champions League next term.

A source close to the club told FDN manager Brendan Rodgers wants quality cover for talisman Luis Suarez and hitman Daniel Sturridge.

The pair have struck up a superb partnership to fire their side to the brink of glory but Spaniard Iago Aspas, brought in last summer to provide Rodgers with another option up front, has failed to impress at Anfield.

Vucinic offers a wealth of experience which could prove to be vital if Liverpool embark on a Champions League campaign next season, and the source confirmed the 30-year-old is a target. (SportsDirectNews)

Is he really good enough for a move to Liverpool?
