Reports have come out and revealed Sevilla manager Unai Emery admits the club are preparing for life without Liverpool transfer target Ivan Rakitic.
The Croatian midfielder was a key part of the Sevilla side that won the UEFA Europa League last season, sparking rumours that he will be leaving this summer.
And Sevilla’s Emery has now suggested the club are wary of his departure.
As quoted on the TalkSport website, he said: “The best thing from a playing sense is that Rakitic stays, but I understand that for various reasons he may go.
“And we have to be prepared for it. If he ultimately leaves, we have to work to get another Rakitic.”
