Liverpool will step up their interest in Borussia Dortmund star Marco Reus, as the German have a target in mind.
Reus has been linked with a move to The Premier League in recent weeks after the 25-year-old reportedly rejected a new deal with Dortmund, with his current contract with the German giants set to expire in 2017.
Now the Metro website have claimed Dortmund are considering signing Roma’s Adem Ljajic to take Reus’ place at the Bundesliga outfit following reports that the 22-year-old is unhappy in Italy.
The player’s agent Dirk Hebel recently talked up the transfer gossip linking his client to England.
He said: “Marco would make any big European team stronger.
“That’s why it’s completely normal that a number of these major European teams are interested in signing him.”
