Liverpool to do Spanish deal as star to be offered three-year deal

Liverpool goalkeeper Pepe Reina is reportedly set to be offered a permanent three-year deal by Napoli

The Spanish keeper is currently there on a season-long loan and all indications suggest he will not be returning to Anfield in the summer

He has been heavily linked with a move to La Liga giants Barcelona will not happen because they are on the verge of signing Marc-Andre ter Stegen from Borussia Moenchengladbach.

Reina is unlikely to be short of options when the transfer window reopens, but after a successful first season with Napoli a three-year contract could convince him to put pen to paper and extend his stay in Italy, according to the SportsDirectNews website.

Liverpool would have loved to have the man back but he would cause too many problems as Simon Mignolet is the number one, so many fans will surely wish him the best.
