Manchester City striker Alvaro Negredo is ‘happy’ and ‘settled’ at the Etihad and has no intention of leaving the Premier League club.
It had been suggested that the Spain international could return to his homeland this summer after just one season in England.
He netted 23-goals last season, but failed to make an impact during the second half of the season and barely managed to find the back of the net.
However, he has stated his desire to stay put.
As quoted on the Sky Sports website, he said: “I had a difficult end to the season and that’s why there has been a lot of talking but I’ve been very happy here from the first day I arrived.”
