Man City looking to go big and fill Toure void with £30 million man

Manchester City are reportedly lining up a summer move for Everton star Ross Barkley.

Barkley is one of the most exciting and talented young players in the game, after a stunning season has led to talk that some of the games biggest clubs are keen on his signature.

City are aware they need to build up the number of ‘home grown’ players after a summer clear-out that will see Gareth Barry, Joleon Lescott, Micah Richards, Scott Sinclair and, possibly, James Milner leave.

And they have set their sights on Barkley, according to the Daily Express website.

City see him as a great replacement for Yaya Toure, who is expected to leave this summer.
