Manchester City are considering a move for Benfica striker Oscar Cardoza, according to reports on the SportsDirectNews website.
There are growing reports circulating all over Europe that City could lose a number of their strikers, as Stevan Jovetic, Alvaro Negredo and Sergio Aguero have all been linked with a move away.
And although City want to keep all of their players, boss Manuel Pellegrini wants to think ahead just in case and it is desire to sign up Paraguayan striker Cardoza.
The 30-year-old has been in superb form in each of his seven seasons at Portuguese club Benfica and particularly shone last season when he scored 33 goals in 46 games.
And, Cardoza’s agent has paved the way for City to make a bid after admitting his client is unhappy with his current situation
