Man City to do Italian business as unwanted star lined up

Reports have claimed Juventus are targeting Manchester City defender Matija Nastasic, according to the Daily Mirror website.

Nastasic lost his starting place last season at City, with boss Manuel Pellegrini preferring Martin Demichelis as Vincent Kompany’s centre-half partner.

That has led to talk Juve are looking to swoop in and try to take him to Serie A in an £8 million summer deal.

Nastasic could be further pushed down City’s centre-half pecking order when they land a new partner or Kompany and they are in talks with Roma over a £30million move for Mehdi Benatia.
