Manchester City could move for Barcelona goalkeeper Victor Valdes in the summer.
The 32-year-old recently stated that he is keen on playing in the Premier League after spending his entire career at the Nou Camp with Barcelona. Valdes is out of contract at the Catalan giants in the summer and is keen on a new experience before he eventually retires. While Barca look at replacements for Valdes, speculation as to where the Spanish stopper will end up intensifies.
A sourcetold FDN that City are looking at Valdes as a possible replacement for England number one Joe Hart. Hart made a high profile error against Chelsea earlier in the season which saw him dropped from Manuel Pellegrini’s side. Although the England stopper is back between the sticks at the Etihad, Pellegrini is looking at other options. (SportsDirectNews)
