Manchester United manager David Moyes will be confident preparing a bid for Toni Kroos after the Bayern Munich midfielder claimed he could possibly play in the Premier League.
Moyes has been keeping an eye on the 24-year-old as he has yet to sign a new deal with the Bundesliga side, with his contract expiring next season.
It has been reported that the German is looking to largely increase his wage demands, with United thought to be prepared to offer around £200,000 a week for the star.
With Kroos telling German reporters the Premier League is a possibilty for him, United could be ready to make an offer this summer, with Bayern likely to accept so Kroos does not leave on a free transfer the following year.
Moyes has had a difficult first season as United boss, after failing to land any big name signings in the summer, and the champions struggling on all fronts.
They are currently sixth in the Premier League table, with a top four finish looking unlikely, and lost the first leg of their Champions League last 16 tie with Olympiakos 2-0. (SportsDirectNews)
He would be a great signing if United can get a deal done
