Manchester United have allowed experienced full-back Patrice Evra to leave for Serie A champions Juventus.
Evra moves on after eight-and-a-half years at Old Trafford, as Louis Van Gaal looks to the future with Luke Shaw set to be the clubs number one.
United announced on their Twitter page: “Patrice Evra has left #mufc to join Juventus. Everyone at the club would like to thank him for his many years of excellent service.”
And the Frenchman has thanked the Red Devils, as he is set for a fresh challenge in Serie A
Evra Tweeted: “Joining and playing for Manchester United has been a privilege and a dream come true.”
