Manchester United’s hopes of luring Juventus midfielder Arturo Vidal to the Premier League have hit a wall managing director Giuseppe Marotta insisted he is happy in Turin.
United have been linked with the classy midfielder all season and reports claimed they are lining up a summer move to try and bring him to England, as they plan a massive overhaul of their squad.
However, Marotta has admitted the Chile international is enjoying life at the club.
As quoted on the SportsDirectNews website, Marotta said: “We are pleased that the eyes of the big clubs are focused on our players.
“But we want to grow, even in Europe, so we want to take the players and not sell them.
“Vidal is well here and we are fine with him, so I think he remains here.”
