Manchester United forward Javier Hernandez who has been an outcast under David Moyes, is being lined up for a summer move to Inter Milan.
The Serie A side have already secured Nemanja Vidic from Old Trafford as they seek to reinforce their squad and challenge for the title next season.
And the San Siro outfit believe the Mexican can boost their hopes of challenging among the elite.
As quoted on the SportsDirectNews website, the Corriere della Sera said:“ Contact between Inter and Hernandez has started and talks are going well.
“Hernandez is the type of player Erick Thohir wants to bring to the club. His tactical characteristics are interesting because he is a player who knows how to play both as a first or second striker, so he could work well with both Palacio and Icardi.
“Inter are very keen on signing the Mexican international and they know they could take him from United without having to pay a fortune.”
