Manchester United will face fresh competition from Juventus in the race to sign Toni Kroos.
It is no secret that United boss David Moyes is keen to bring the £50 million rated star to Old Trafford this summer, and they were buoyed by the news that Real Madrid had pulled out of the running.
But now the Italian Champions have put a damper on their chase, as they look to freshen up their ageing squad.
Kroos has been heavily linked with a switch away from the Allianz Arena in the summer after contract talks between himself and the Bundesliga outfit stalled.
And after Madrid pulled out, that left Moyes in pole position to sign the German.
However, the SportsDirectNews website have claimed Juve are also looking to meet the £50 million valuation of the player and will chuck everything at Munich to get a deal done
