Manchester United could join the chase for in-demand Fenerbahce left-back Caner Erkin.
The 25-year old’s contract runs out this summer and is keen to make a move to a bigger club.
United have had problems in the left-back position and therefore are stepping up their interest to fill the void that will be left by Patrice Evra, who is heavily tipped to leave the side at the end of the season
And Erkin has caught boss David Moyes’s eye with some superb performances for Fenerbahce this season, contributing with two goals and 11 assists.
He is a top-class player that is not valued at a high price, and could be a terrific signing for the reds
However, the SportsDirectNews website claim United will have to fend off Chelsea, Liverpool and Manchester United for his signature.
