Manchester United boss David Moyes is ready to battle Napoli boss Rafael Benitez for the summer signing of Ezequiel Garay
Sir Alex Ferguson was credited with interest in Argentine international Garay during his time as United boss and that seems to have continued under the tenure of David Moyes.
The former Everton has had an up and down season at Old Trafford and is expected to make a number of summer transfers, with his main focus being on his defence.
Current centre-backs Nemanja Vidic and Rio Ferdinand are due to leave the former agreeing a deal with Inter Milan and the latter expected to retire.
That has left Moyes to continue his interest in Garay and after learning of his recent refusal to sign a new contract, the Scottish boss is confident he can beat the likes of Napoli to a deal. (SportsDirectNews)
It will be interesting to see where he ends up.
