Man United to do some Premier League business for pass master

QPR boss Harry Redknapp is keeping tabs on Michael Carrick’s situation at Manchester United, according to the Daily Mail.

Redknapp is keen on taking on Rio Ferdinand, who last week turned down a move to Aston Villa, and possibly Carrick from United in what could be termed ‘West Ham re-United’.

The midfielder is rated very highly by most at the Red Devils, but with new boss Louis Van Gaal looking to reinvent his side, Carrick may no longer be needed.
