Manchester United are planning to begin contract talks with the likes of Phil Jones in the coming weeks.
United are planning a massive summer overhaul this summer, as boss David Moyes looks to get his side back to the very top of the game.
However, there are a number of quality young players at the club already and Moyes is keen to end speculation on the future of the young Englishman.
Representatives of Jones have already held preliminary discussions with Moyes over the England defender’s development, and the indications are he will be rewarded with a long-term deal according to the Daily Mail website.
He has been tipped to become the clubs number one centre-half, and despite his development being hindered by injuries, he has been impressive at times this season.
