Bayern Munich could take unsettled Manchester United striker Robin van Persie as part of a swap deal for Toni Kroos
There has been much speculation over both players in recent times, with van Persie thought to be unhappy with life at United under new manager David Moyes, while Kroos is stalling on signing a new contract at the Allianz Arena.
The pair could now be involved in a swap deal, according to an Old Trafford insider, with Bayern ready to let Kroos leave if they can bring in the prolific Dutch striker to provide competition for new signing Robert Lewandowski.
The Bavarian giants seem likely to lose Mario Mandzukic as well this summer, with the Croatian forward not keen on playing second fiddle to Lewandowski when he arrives in the summer from Borussia Dortmund.
Van Persie could then be seen as a great addition for manager Pep Guardiola, with the 30-year-old desperate to leave his current club to win silverware, which looks unlikely given the current situation this season. (SportsDirectNews)
