Manchester United are planning to begin contract talks with the likes of Danny Welbeck in the coming weeks.
United are planning a massive summer overhaul this summer, as boss David Moyes looks to get his side back to the very top of the game.
However, there are a number of quality young players at the club already and Moyes is keen to end speculation on the future of the young hitman.
Welbeck all have two years remaining on his deal but Moyes will sit down with his representatives over an improved three –year deal, according to the Daily Mail website.
He has been impressive this season and although Wayne Rooney and Robin Van Persie are the clubs number one, he is an integral part of the side.
