Paris Saint-Germain defender and Manchester United target Marquinhos has fuelled talk by stalling on a new contract discussion.
The highly-rated 20-year-old is reported to be drawing admiring glances from Barcelona and United, as both clubs look to solve their defensive problem this summer window.
Marquinhos is considered to be a useful addition for the present and future, with the youngster having now caught the eye for Roma and PSG.
And he is aware of the mounting speculation regarding a possible summer switch, but says talks will be held with his representatives when the time is right.
As quoted on the Sky Sports website, he said: “I’m very focused on this championship. It’s important to me, to wear the Brazil shirt.
“This group is strong and we want to be champions.
“I always want to evolve and grow but I need to talk to my agent and PSG about my future.
“I’m pleased Barca think of me. It proves I’m doing my job on the pitch.
“When I’ve finished this tournament I’ll speak with my agent and PSG and we will decide on my future.”
