Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho insists Fernando Torres remains in his plans for next season.
The Spaniard netted the winner in today’s 2-1 victory over Cardiff, but it was his first Premier League goal since January and only his 11th of the season.
And speculation has mounted over the futures of Torres, as there has been some reports which claim he will be sold so Mourinho can bring in the kind of forwards he wants.
However, Mourinho says Torres still has a place at Stamford Bridge.
As quoted on the Metro website, he said: “Yes he’s in my plans [for next season]. He’s a good player.”
