Mourinho ready to do Chelsea business for £40 million man

Barcelona has identified David Luiz as a replacement for veteran Carles Puyol according to Football Direct News.

The Spanish giants will see Puyol leave the club this summer with German international Mats Hummels and FC Porto youngster Eliaqium Mangala also on the La Liga side’s wish-list.

Brazilian Luiz has struggled to retain a foothold in Jose Mourinho’s starting eleven with the Blues boss opting to use John Terry and Gary Cahill as his first choice central defensive pairing, and now Mourinho is reportedly ready to listen to big money offers for Luiz for the Samba ace.

The Portuguese boss has targets of his own and will look to use the funds raised by the Luiz sale to land some adequate replacements

  1. It will be very foolish to let luiz leave chelsea. He is a kind of player I admire so much especially when he is playing the midfield role. He is just a grate player I admire so much.

  2. Yea and Chelsea going to sign Messi!!. Don’t know why such crap is written when it not true at all. Mourinho has already identified Luiz to be his main player next season whether it’s in Midfield or defender. He wants to build his new chelsea Courtiou, Lukaku, Ramires, Hazard ! Oscar, and Willian. Promising players such as T Hazard, Piazon, Marovic, Van Ginkel’, Ashtu,, Chalobah, and
