Newcastle United boss Alan Pardew will look to follow up the signing of Remy Cabella with the capture of a striker and right-back, according to the Daily Mail website.
Cabella agreed to join the Toon after a £9.5 million fee was agreed with former club Montpellier.
It comes after months of speculation that he would rather join a side in the Champions League.
Now with that all wrapped up, Pardew is looking to persuade Monaco Striker Emmanuel Riviere to make the move to the Premier League.
The Geordies are lacking fire-power, and with only Papa Cisse as the main source of goals, Pardew will be hoping Riviere is the man to help out.
He is also looking to bring in Daryl Jaanmat of Feyenoord, as Mathieu Debuchy heads to Arsenal.
