Arsenal star Mesut Ozil has admitted no player is worth more than £50 million.
Ozil insists football is in danger of losing it’s grip on reality due to excessive transfer fees.
The likes of Raheem Sterling , Kevin De Bruyne and Anthony Martial all arrived in the Premier League for huge sums, while Angel Di Maria’s £59.7m move to Manchester United remains the British record.
“No individual around the world is worth €50m,” he told Express.de.
“That’s why in football we have to be careful not to lose our grip on reality.
“And it is also important that, through the opportunities football offers, we do good and help.”
